We answer a lot of inquires each week from businesses wanting to produce some sort of video. Training, promotional, web, advertising and commercials. We do all of the aformentioned and at what I believe is a reasonable cost considering the investment we've made in all our equipment, facilities and personnel.
But one call stood out last week. A gentleman wanted to get a 30-second commercial made. No problem there, we can do that. He had $1000 to spend. Okay, we can make that work. But when he said he didn't want it to look like a local commercial, I had to pause. Certainly we strive to produce superior work, but let's face it. $1000 is not going to get you a spot that looks like a $10,000 spot, let along a $100,000 spot.
So it was pure coincidence when I happened along this behind the scenes video from a Domino's Pizza commercial shoot. While staged, this is quite typical of big-budget productions. I especially like the pizza being screwed to the block of wood and the professionalism of the hand model that 'pulls the cheese.' Enjoy...and order a pizza!
